Youth

youth ministry

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity,” Paul wrote to Timothy. (I Timothy 4:12)

The youth at New Life Church do just that. They serve on worship and technical arts teams, help with childcare and participate in service opportunities.

Youth Bible study takes place on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Middle school and high school students meet together for a time of worship, then split into two groups (middle school and high school) for Bible study.

Throughout the year, the youth group has special events, such as lock-ins, retreats, Christmas caroling and more.

Youth Bible Quizzing

NLCH’s Quiz team is a group of youth who learns a specific set of material through intense study and memorization and then participates throughout the year in competitions with other churches from around the country.  The focus is on learning, life application and team building. The team meets for practices once per week and normally has a competition or tournament once per month.
