Children's Ministry

“Let the little children come unto me,” Jesus said. (Matthew 19:14) Children are a valued and vital part of our church community.

At NLCH, children are a valued and vital part of our church community! All of our children’s ministry programs are designed to provide a safe and welcoming place for your child to know Jesus, become more like him and to make him known.

On Sunday mornings, caregivers are ready to serve children from infants to age 3. Preschool and elementary-age children can join in Faith Quest where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Unique features of Faith Quest include a children’s prayer circle, a Bible memory challenge and mission curriculum that engages children in the broader outreach ministry of NLCH.

On the first and third Wednesdays, children in grades 1-5 an enjoy KidZone, a mid-week program that meets in our gym from 6:45 – 8 p.m. KidZone uses object lessons, games and activities to engage children in the practical application of Biblical values. Caregivers are also available to serve infants and preschoolers for parents attending Wednesday evening adult Bible studies.
